2008 tour update:

Led by the Eagle Photographer and the IDNR's nest monitor, Bruce Clifton, tour participants were delighted to see 8 actual Bald Eagle nests. Of course they were equally thrilled when they saw 24 Eagles, 38 red tail or other birds of prey and 2 albino elk. It was truly amazing. Thanks to Bruce and to his sidekick Gary (Grasshopper) Lawson.

Though the clouds were low in the sky, our spirits soared that day.

In the Park's rustic log room, a great lunch and wonderful slide show

      followed the tour.
