* Registration:
          o To schedule a field trip, call the Park at (309) 676-0998. Please review the program descriptions.

      If you are not planning to schedule a program, you may click on this link to download a mail-able reservation form. Or you may call the education dept. at 309-676-0998. We will need the following information.

    * Confirmation:
          o After processing your registration, we will mail you a field trip confirmation letter and a map of the Park. (Approximately one month before your visit).
          o If you have registered for an educational program, an educational program packet will be sent with your confirmation.

       
    * Adult Supervisors:
          o School groups visiting Wildlife Prairie Park MUST have proper adult supervision.  The minimum ratio we require is one adult for every ten students.

       
    * Bus Driver Information:
          o We are just 10 miles west of Downtown Peoria, Wildlife Prairie State Park is conveniently located 2 1/2 miles south of I-74.  Take I-74, Exit 82 or I-474, Exit 3 and follow the signs.  The ticket gate will direct your bus to the circular drive in the main area.  Please wait there until your bus is greeted by a naturalist.  After your bus is unloaded, park in the bus parking lot, located to the west of the main parking lots.  We strongly discourage buses from leaving while students are in the Park.

       
    * Admission Fees for School Groups: To receive this price, groups must pay in advance or in one lump sum at the Ticket Gate and you must register at least 2 weeks in advance.

 * Please note:    Members of Wildlife Prairie State Park may enter FREE OF CHARGE.  Teachers will need to have the child's membership card and present it to the ticket gate attendant at the time of payment.   If paying in advance, please photocopy the card(s) and send it with payment.

        

 

* We are closed Mid-December through March 1.  Schools that wish to visit Wildlife Prairie State Park may do so by advance appointment only.
