They just grow up so fast....

 

This GHO owlet came into rehab in May 2007. If you read the fact sheet, then you already know that they are hatched in the winter. So when this little one came in, we assumed it was a barred owlet. When its feet grew exponentially we thought hmmm and then it opened its eyes and we saw yellow. (A barred owl's eyes are unusually very dark.) Looking at these pictures you too will soon discover, just how fast they grow.
