What's for lunch? Bison burger, slice of pizza, a whole pizza, or how about the classic, chilli dog and chilli-cheese fries? Perhaps a salad? We have an expansive menu, you're sure to find something that sounds yummy.

Sunday Brunch

This is the one you've heard talked about! Join us for an all you can eat  feast that we call Sunday Brunch. While you're here, you'll probably want to visit the animals for awhile. You may just want to make a day of it.

Gift Shops

Our gift shops tempt you with fine collectibles, decorator items, toys and candy. I guess you could say that there's something for everyone there. There may even be an actual gift of two for other people.

Train Schedule

Climb aboard the Wildlife Prairie State Park Train for a scenic ride that's off the beaten path. Well, not that we have... an actual beaten path in the Park.... While you're in the depot, make sure to visit the new train museum. A small snack shop and large shelter are also located within the depot.

Wireless Internet Access

For your convenience, Wildlife Prairie State Park has installed a series of wireless access points. Keep in mind that your laptop or PDA must be wireless Internet capable.

Our History

The Park opened for the first time in the fall of 1978 for six weeks, and we have been very busy ever since. Check back here periodically as we sort through some old pictures and add to our photo album for our 30th anniversary year!

Volunteers

Wildlife Prairie State Park would not exist except for the hard work and good nature of its many dedicated volunteers. Use the link to see if the Park is just the place you've been looking for, we've been looking for you.
