Bears have big appetites, so do cougars, bison, wolves, and many other animals here at the park. That is why they need “parents” to sponsor them. Show your concern for preserving native Illinois wildlife by sponsoring one, two, or more of the animals at Wildlife Prairie State Park.By being a Prairie Parent, you help offset the cost of food, shelter, and veterinary care of your sponsored animal. All of the animals at Wildlife Prairie State Park need Prairie Parents!
Wildlife Prairie State Park is operated as a not-for-profit, Illinois natural heritage park and are dedicated to the goals of education, conservation, and recreation. We are partially supported through admission fees, memberships, donations, and grants. Donations, sponsorships, and memberships are partially tax deductible.
Wildlife Prairie State Park encourages the use of matching gift programs that are available from many central Illinois companies. Ask if your place of employment for matching gift forms!
