Can't Get to Us? We'll bring a naturalist to you with Wildlife on the Road! We offer Outreach Programs November-March.

All of our school based programs can be taken on the road, or we can customize a program for you!

Cost of an Outreach Program:
Fee: $3.00/per person + $.50/mile (round-trip) Minimum: $100.00
Auditorium groups: $300.00 + $.50/mile (round-trip)

Perfect activity for Back-to-School Night, Open Houses, Day Care Centers, and Nursing Homes!

Amazing Animals - Always a crowd pleaser, this diverse program can be modified to suit all age groups. This program is designed to introduce the five vertebrate families (birds, fish, mammals, amphibians, reptiles) and show off their "amazing" characteristics.

General Animal Program - The perfect program for mixed
audiences! When you schedule your program, you can specify
which animals you would prefer, and the animals, if any, you would
not like to be presented. Topics may also be tailored to your needs
(e.g. Habitats of Illinois or Predators).

In the Spirit of Giving - A great program for celebrating cultural
awareness. Students will be introduced to different Native American
celebrations, and come to understand how different birds of prey are
important symbols. Students will also learn how they can make a difference, and give thanks to our earth.
